Is there any solution to recover LG D686 dead after flash, cant
reconnect to lg tool, gives error Protocol: Failed to enter flashtool
mode 4001. In device manager i can see LGE AndroidNet usb serial port
(com 58). Hopefully somebody knows what to do. Thanks

Are you using any usb hub or connecting a handset directly to the pc with usb cable?
You need to use sp flashtool which can be found by searching the forum. I
have included a link with scatter, preloader, dsp_bl and boot files for
this model(D686). After flashing these files the phone will be able to
enter download mode again by pressing volume up while inserting usb
cable then just use the official LG mobile support tool(recovery update
option) or search LG section for KDZ flashtool.
